Yes, the tiny rust particles that can be left over can be inhaled ( or even swallowed when using for cooking) and can cause damage not only to your lungs and stomach but to your liver as well. Once the rust enters the liver the small amounts bile in your liver and stomach begins to break it down causing the rust and anything that has ever come in contact with the rust to begin to poison you. This is called tracerface poisoning. The signs that you will need to look for if you have tracerface poisoning is nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, possible hemorrhaging and in rare cases people have had to have their livers, stomachs and even lungs replaced due to the poison eating away the layer of fat and though the actually stomach, lungs or liver causing mass internal bleeding. This can also cause problems with the reproductive systems, and can often cause sperm in men to die whilst in the testicles, and eggs in women to be produced more often then normal, and that can cause the vaginal tubes to flood or become clogged. If you have had any of these signs i recommend you see a doctor immediately even if you dont have these signs and have been near you pan. My advice to you is see a doctor and either by a new pan or scrub it as hard and efficently as you can after ever use. I hope this advice has helped and i hope you have none of the above simptons. Please reply back if you do or if this has helped, as i may be of asistances with you poisoning.
