Can you get rivers were you can drink straight out of the water?

no because fish pea,dead animals can decay in the water, and algi or other nasty water polluting plants can live in it unless you find a way or buy a purifier but you can purify water by yourself....

∙ 14y agoAlthough it doesn't come highly recommended, you can drink river water.
Some factors here determine whether you should or not, however.
1) Is the river fast flowing? If it flows fast, bacteria won't be able to grow as easily.
2) Is it cold? Bacteria doesn't grow well in cold water.
3) Is it shallow? Shallow water may have a lower bacteria content.
4) What color is it? If it's murky, stay away. The clearer, the better.
