It is not normally a good idea to eat spoiled food because you could become ill. Illness is not guaranteed, since it depends upon the spoilage organism(s) and your body's sensitivity to the microbes and their toxins.
Yes! I didn’t know this until after eating a fresh corn on the cob several days past it’s shelf live - stored in a fridge. A common mould called aflatoxin grows on sweetcorn. The sweetcorn I ate had a couple of tiny darks spots which I prised out. I then steamed the cob and ate only half the cob. I felt ill that night with discomfort In my stomach which got worse day after. Now on day 5, my stomach is still delicate and bloated. Garlic and onions does seem to help as they’re both know antifungals.
So only eat very fresh sweetcorn that’s been stored correctly or from a good quality frozen brand from a reputable supermarket.
Aflatoxin is real and not tone ignored.

Unless your dog has an allergy to corn, raw corn is safe to eat. However, just like people, some dogs have trouble digesting corn. Your dog might develop loose stools from eating too much corn. If your dog enjoys corn, it's best to limit the amount he/she eats. It's possible for corn cobs to cause an intestional blockage.

I ate a cob in 17 seconds before. I wanted to see if I could beat it tonight. 15 seconds on the forst one and 16 on the second. I beat it. The world record they are showing with the guy eating it in 53 seconds is a joke.
From my experience, tarantula's typically enjoy eating corn on the cob (never off the cob, they tend to get their feet stuck in it).
