yes you can give your dog benadryl along with the antibiotics(clavamox) but only give baby benadryl starting with half of the regular dose indicated for babies. if you are not seeing any changes in your dogs behavior (seems a bit more sluggish than normal) wait until it is time for the next dose and give the full amount.

∙ 10y agoI had the same question. My dog is a 9.5 lb Chihuahua and my vet said to give my dog either one (1) children's benadryl or 1/4 of a 25mg tab. My Vet told me it is very important that no other ingredients are present and make sure it is only diphenhydramine. I would call your Vet to see what dosage is best for your dog.
