If its possible the bullet is still in there the dog can't be treated at home. You will either need to take it to the vet or animal shelter if you can't afford one. You don't say on what area the wound is or how deep. If it not deep no bullet and the dog is eating and not acting ouchy you can try to clean the wound with betadine and give a anti biotic pencillin g in small does though not labeled can be effective with dogs dosage I give is 1cc im per 100lb for five days switch sides and give in hind leg. Both can be found at a feed store. However if the wound is bad or the dog is in pain it but get proper vet care. If this is a small dog I recommend the vet as well.
