Jane Shore was the mistress of Edward IV and as such is expected to have had some influence over his decisions, as royal mistresses did. In Richard III, Richard blames Shore and Elizabeth for turning Edward against Clarence, although as we know it is Richards fault!
She was buried next to her husband Henry the 8th inn a Glass coffin and you can go and visit her in a museum in France.
Jones' putter Calamity Jane was already named before it was given to him. It was given to him at the Nassau Country Club in Long Island, NY. When he replaced it, he gave it to the Augusta National Golf Club. He called the new putter Calamity Jane II and it is on display at the USGA Museum.
