Yes, I just spoke w/my vet as my cat was recently diagnosed with cancer and the medicine treatment has given him diarrhea so she instructed me to give him (he's 9 lbs) 1 ml of imodium for the 1st dose. The 2nd day dose at 0.50. Stools should return to normal and if not then he will need to be seen to adjust his medicine treatments. Of course, when having to give any animal an approved human form of medication your vet should be notified so according to weight of the animal they can give you instruction on the correct dosage.
I know that my parents give their Corgi human dirreha medicine, not sure in what doses though. This was from the advice of our friend who is a practicing Vet. You can give your cat Loperamide hydrochloride tablets for diarrhea. Another name for this medication is Imodium, which is available over-the-counter.
They should be given a fresh bowl of water daily. Cows' milk is actually hard for cats to digest and can cause diarrhea in cats.
sneezing, and wheezing, and scratching alot, and diarrhea and throwing up
really?! that's very strange normally it stinks!! have u asked your vet?
It is not advisable to give a cat dairy products. It is best to stay away from all dairy as many cats can not digest it properly - particularly products made from cow's milk due to the lactose which can cause diarrhea.
Yes, as long as it's specific milk made just for cats. Cow milk will cause diarrhea in cats (trust me, I know). I also have something to add. Not just cow milk, other milks to. The truth is that cats are lactose intolerance. So lactose free milk is fine for cats. No, cow milk is bad for cats as they are lactose intolerant. Milk may make them throw up or give them diarrhea.
If your cat has diarrhea, get him Feline Gastralox.
The best (most natural) remedy is teaspoon mixture of water and a bit of corn starch. This will work almost immediately. Not too much or else it will constipate you! If you have chronic diarrhea, however, please see your doctor! ~ T Answer MEDICATION for diarrhea include- "Pepto-Bismal" (Bismuth subsalicylate) and "Imodium" (Loperamide hydrochloride"). My suggestion is TWO 2mg. tabs of "Imodium" (generic is cheaper!) at the first loose stool. Drink plenty of water and take ONE 2mg. tab at next loose stool; NOT TO EXCEED FOUR tabs. in 24 hr. Good Luck!! There is a specific medication called Imodium which is made to stop Diarrhea. It is over the counter and does work.. another way is just to stay away from milk and milk products and have some binding foods, rice, potatoes, etc: which will help bind you.
Yes
Yes, because cats are unable to digest lactose in milk.

Only if you have a very bad allergy to cats that leads to that.
It CAN cause diarrhea, but a tablespoonful for an ocassional treat should be OK.
