I'm sorry, You cannot get back to Dropstone from Folsense.
The only thing you can do is to restart the game from the beginning as a new player.

The shadowy intruder in Professor Layton is Don Paolo. He appears in both the curious village and pandoras box. In curious village, he poses as Inspector Chelmey annd in pandoras box, he poses as Flora.

Professor Layton and his Apprentice Luke receive a letter from Dr Schrader, Layton's previous Mentor, regarding the legendary Elysian Box, they both visit his office and find his lifeless body on the floor, there are no signs of the Elysian Box, However, they did find a ticket for the Molentary Express train plus a torn up photograph. Professor Layton and Luke board the train which is going to Dropstone, a small village that is celebrating it's 50th Anniversary Professor, Luke and Flora! who they found on the train explore the village. After many puzzles are solved they again board the train, destination, Folsense!. The story really begins in Folsense, and so do all the puzzles. Enjoy the game!!

Where can you find the puzzle shack in Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box?
Granny Riddletons puzzle shack moves places during the professor Layton and the diabolical box game. While on the molentary express the shack is in the very last carriage at the back of the train (through the dining room and past the kitchen). While in Dropstone the shack is located at the entrance to the village just after the point where you get off the train. While in Folsense the shack is located near the locked gates of the museum.This answer is also correct for Professor Layton and Pandora's Boxx x
