Sure, now some will disagree with me and that's fine, just use common sense. Once you are done with your sea side jaunt be sure to shower and wash the piercing out using diluted liquid antibacterial soap and lots of warm running water. You literally want to rinse the piercing out while shuffling the jewellery under the running water. If you do this as soon as possible after your swimming that should be fine. Aftercare for piercings is a daily thing and needs to be done on a daily basis. I have hundreds of clients who enjoy swimming in chlorinated pools and sea side frolics in the ocean, they simple wash up once they are done and they have had no issues with their piercings.
5 weeks
No you have to wait 6 weeks with any peircing :)
4 weeks :) Thanks
no , your not supposed to be exposed to " heat " for atleast 2 weeks .
yes, i am a cheerleader and my weeks consist of tumbling. i got my belly button pierced 3 weeks ago, and now im having to take it out because it is holding me back from tumbling, because it will most likely rip out. if you tumble, DO NOT get your belly pierced, i learned the hard way, and there is a scar that stays there forever. i cant even go into a backbend yet. plus, no matter how much it heals, it will always hurt a bit bc thats always going to be an object going against your skin, THAT HURTS!
i recommend not taking it out longer then three hours at a time.
spray tanning= infection Heat tanning in tanning bed= tan line around bellybutton jewlery and possible infection .
It is okay to get your belly button pierced in the summer and yes they are right you can't go in chlorine for six weeks or more depending on how your body reacts to the piercing its self. You dont want to risk infection trust me i know what i am talking about
Yes you can just wash the piercing out well once you are done.
