"Morrowind vs. Oblivion" is a BIG topic that has been discussed to death by the fans.
Personally, I vote Morrowind. Oblivion is easily one of the most over-rated games ever made. But it's perfect for a 4-year-old.
Oblivion is a little larger in terms of area and questlines, then again, Morrowind is larger than Oblivion. It seems that for every progression of The Elder Scrolls saga, the game quality improves greatly at the cost of fewer quests and smaller lands. To make a high quality game with good graphics, sound and mechanics with the scope of older games would put the cost of development and the cost of the game so high that it would hardly sell and be prone to forced piracy, hurting developers, marketers and in the end, consumers.
But is the game better? That depends on your point of view based on the above information. If you like a game with a lot of eye and ear candy and your PC can handle it, then Skyrim is great. If you prefer scope on a grand scale, then Oblivion is a better game.
i think morrowind is an excellent game! it has 100% free roam and tons of stuff to do. i wouldn't hesitate to get it.
i have played them both and they are both very very good but i prefer oblivion because it is easier to manage and it is first person. zenimax makes exeptional rpgs
No, Oblivion takes place in the province of Cyrodiil only, you cannot visit the other provinces, such as Morrowind.
Skyrim
I would go for morrowind if you want a more immersive game world with better stories, but go for Oblivion if you want better gameplay mechanics like vaguely interesting combat and also in oblivion being a mage is a feasible option unlike morrowind. Personally I preferred morrowind, and mods can fix the gameplay issues in morrowind.
Yeah Fallout 3 and morrowind are even better
The Daedric Crescent Blade is in Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Bethesda included an artifact book from Morrowind in Oblivion, but many of the artifacts cannot be found in Oblivion.
I haven't heard of any in Morrowind, I don't think there is any. In Oblivion, you need the Shivering Isles expansion. You can get to it if you play the Mania side.
Morrowind and fallout 3.
no, scourge is on morrowind only
The Lord's Mail is not in Oblivion. In Morrowind there is a book that describes many of the artifacts you can get in the game. Bethesda put this book in Oblivion too, though many of the items do not appear in it. So you could only ever get the Lord's Mail in Morrowind (and Arena + Daggerfall).
It is not made for the PS2
You can't, you can only get it in "The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind"
In Oblivion yes it is a mod. In morrowind it is the bloodmoon expansion. In Skyrim its part of the fighters guild (companions) storyline
I think its either Two Worlds, or Morrowind. (Maybe Oblivion)
there is in the 5th one. SKYRIM not oblivion and morrowind and the other ones.
