You can have as many children as you can on Sims 2. If the father lives there with the mother you can have 6. If they don't live together you can have 7 :-)

Well at one time you can have triplets, and the maximum amount of sims in a house-hold is 8 so if you were playing as a couple they could have 6 children :) But once they have moved out then you can have more there is no limit to the amount of children you can have but to how many in the household!! You can have up to 8 people on one lot (only 6 in a community) there can be two adults and four children, to get nine children you have to wait for your children to become teens and if you have university pack then move your teens to college using the phone. Or just wait for them to become adults when they are adults move them out using a computer. then have your sims relax on a double bed and try for a baby. Hopefully your sim will be pregnant. You can adopt when you have moved out some sims which will quicken the progress of growing up. Good luck

In my opinion, I think Sims 3 because you have traits and curfews, lifetime rewards, new furniture, up to 6 children, and loads more! Although Sims bustin' out is fun, i personally think that Sims 3 is better, in my opinion.
