Basically I have to write a paragraph with "supporting evidence" on how acceleration is NOT a motion, but I have no idea what to say. Can you please help by possibly telling me some things to say?
Motion without acceleration is when an object is moving at a constant speed in a straight line. In this scenario, the object's velocity remains constant and there is no change in its speed or direction.
simple harmonic motion (SHM) the two summits of motion are an example
Steady motion refers to an object moving at a constant speed in a straight line, without any acceleration or deceleration. It is characterized by a uniform and continuous motion without any changes in velocity.
The direction of acceleration affects the direction of motion by causing a change in velocity. If the acceleration is in the same direction as the velocity, the speed of the object increases. If the acceleration is opposite to the velocity, the speed decreases, and if the acceleration is perpendicular to the velocity, the object changes direction without changing speed.
The study of velocity, speed, and acceleration is called kinematics. Kinematics is a branch of physics that deals with the motion of objects without considering the forces causing the motion.
acceleration in a circular motion :)
Uniform acceleration motion is a type of motion where the acceleration value is constant.
Newton got the idea of forces from change in motion, acceleration. Aristotle had the idea no force no motion, Newton recognized inertial motion without force.
Constant acceleration motion can be characterized by motion equations and by motion graphs. The graphs of distance, velocity and acceleration as functions.
For an object in motion without any acceleration, velocity and time.
Motion is about speed of location change, acceleration is about speed change.
For uniform motion, the acceleration is zero. For non-uniform motion, the acceleration is something different than zero - at least, most of the time.
