As a for warning, please discuss this issue with a doctor or health physician who has knowledge about your particular case. Each case is different and I am in no way diagnosing your particular case.
I am merely explaining my case for I have been wondering the same thing.
In my case, I have several cherry angiomas on my face that sometimes bleed when I'm stressed or working out for a long time. I also occasionally have vaginal spotting when I lift weights. I have consulteded my regular physician and an obgyn about the spotting and after a few tests they found nothing abnormal nor any std's, nor anything cancerous. Their advice was to cut out the weight lifting, but being phyically fit, that's not an option for me. When I asked my dermatologist about about the angiomas on my face, she asked if I experienced any random blood in my urine because cherry angiomas can also form inside your intesinal tract. Looking back and putting two and two together, I assume since angiomas can form in your intesines, they also may form inside your vaginal tract.

Err... a woman doesn't have a cherry. It's slang for a part near the vagina.
The "Cherry" is in a womans vagina and can only be popped if she still has her virginity, and after she looses it to you, her "cherry pops" -x-x-x- I have heard it used the other way around
The hymen. Its a membrane in the vagina that breaks when penetrated by a foreign object.
