Probably--but you would be better advised to ask that question to your parole officer. Are you on parole for animal cruelty or something similar? If you are, I'd bet the PO will say "NO!".
Idaho does not have an official state dog.

In Idaho your gun rights are automatically restored upon completion of sentence. Unless you are convicted of a violent crime listed in state code you don't have to do anything. If you committed a violent crime you can petition the parole commission to restore gun rights 5 years after completing the sentence.

Of course; why not? Unless they are ordered by the parole board not to own or sell dogs, for instance if the person was convicted of dog fighting or animal abuse.
Short answer no. Long answer it depends on if they are on probation or parole. Probation means the judge has control of the situation and you are not entitled to anything because you aren't physically confined to a jail cell. If you are on parole the parole board has the ultimate power. They can choose to give you partial or full credit based on whatever factors they deem relevant. You are not entitled to "street time" in any way shape or form because Idaho law states that unless you are literally physically detained in a jail, prison, or other facility you are not actually serving a sentence.
