No it is unfair to the creature. Plus when it rains and storms and winds etc., it would be cruel and unfair.

There are many dangers related to keeping pet rabbits outside, but if you can prevent all of them then it's okay to do it. These are some of the dangers you have to consider:

• Hot, cold, or cool and wet weather
• Predators - also, rabbits are very susceptible to stress and can die from shock when they're being stalked, even if they're safe in a secure hutch
• Other people might tease or even hurt your rabbit
• Parasites, insects
• Lack of care (easier to forget about them) - rabbits need daily exercise, play time, and socializing time with their human owners; owners should also observe their appearance and behaviour daily to keep tabs on health
• Exposure to toxins (like pollution, pesticides, diseases in the environment, bacteria in the dirt, etc.)
• "Foxtails" are dangerous for rabbits just like they are for dogs, working their way into the orifices or folds in the skin
