Can you have adobe and silverlight running at the same time?

It is possible to have Adobe Flash and Silverlight running at the same time. There are very few websites that actually use Silverlight, however. They will probably not be running at the same time on the same website as most developers use 1 or the other, never both.

Yes you can you run Silverlight and adobe flash at the same time. Silverlight and Flash has a hard time capturing the market because of the maturity of flash. But the Silverlight is keeping up by including certain features that help designers and developers that wanted to see in flash.

Why does Scratch need Adobe Air?
well most of the time adobe air is installed when you install other adobe products. from what ive heard, it's not really bad to uninstall it. some users have experienced not so good performance after uninstalling adobe air but uninstalled acrobat and had no problems. I'm guessing air is needed for adobe to run at it's best. so no, don't really need it but if you like things running at 100% i would keep it. i keep mines and it's only using like 35mb anyway so it's no big deal.
