no because you are a terrorist and you couldn't get it past the customs because it is metal therefore you would have to put it in your suitcase
I can't see why not! I always put my hair dryer in my hand luggage. I guess you just need to be careful that your iron doesn't have any water in it cos that will be against the fluids rule!
in your luggage you can but on a carry on bag.
Curling irons without butane is accepted in carry on.
yes
It is probably inadvisable to try. Clothes iron isn't featured explicitly on the TSA, BAA or CATSA lists of allowed and prohibited items, so it would be at the discretion of the airport security supervisor on duty. Most "tools" including things like hammers are prohibited in carry-on luggage and they do tend to err on the side of caution. A travel iron would be OK, but a full-sized iron would be best in the hold luggage.
Yes, you can take a curling iron on a carry-on or checked bag. The only stipulation is that if your curling iron has a butane cartridge, only one cartridge is allowed and must be attached to the device. So you may not bring on any additional or loose butane cartridges.
Yes. I have had both my dryer and iron in my carry on mutliple times... I had no problem getting through security
Clothes iron was created in 1882.
There are no restrictions on carrying a flat iron (a chi) in your carry-on luggage. Now if you're talking about a clothes iron, then I am not sure. I carried my hair flattening iron internationally and never once did they stop to open my luggage or say anything in regards to the iron. To find out more information, you should go on the airline website you will be traveling with. Normally, they just state that you're not allowed to bring loose batteries, sharp objects such as pocket knives, and all your liquids must be in a 3 oz or smaller bottle and fit in one 10x10 inch ziplock bag. You are allowed only ONE ziplock bag per person.
Actually, you can. Ask about their rules to see if you can take it with you in your carry-on luggage, which I'm not sure about. Even if you can't bring it with you in your carry-on, you can still bring it in your checked luggage, which will be stored in the underbelly and picked up at baggage claim (and some places, like Disney, bring your checked luggage right to your room!) In fact, you can bring anything with you in your checked luggage, but if it looks suspicious enough to be a bomb, try to leave it- security at airports are super tight, and they'll probably end up ripping your stuff apart if you put suspicious-looking things in your bag, which nobody wants.
