yes, on the PC versions of the sims 2 you can have children. have two sims in love relax in bed and select "try for baby" if it's not there then your relationship isn't high enough or your sim is already pregnant. if it does work they will "woohoo" and you'll hear a chime sound. if you don't hear the chime sound then try again.
