Marijuana is actually bad for your kidneys... So if you have a kidney infection, I would leave the marijuana and your kidneys be. Let you kidneys heal.
Smoking Marijuana while you have a Kidney infection can cause them to shut down, and then die. You cannot live whitout your kidneys, they're job is to filter out toxins in the blood, and then send them to be urinated out. You can live with one Kidney.
The donors of kidneys to others do not usually have to take medication for life after the surgery. You may have to for a while immediately post-surgery - probably for less than a year though.

You could be getting a UTI or kidney infection. You should see your Dr ASAP.
