First, it would be helpful to show them that you could honestly have a career in the culinary arts. Perhaps recommendations from a home eq or baking teacher would help. Second, you'd have to show them WHY a normal college would not benefit you. Third, I'm sure they're concerned about the cost of a culinary school, as that is a special vocational college. See if there is either financial aid, scholarships, or other programs available for you. Fourth, location. Try finding a culinary college that is somewhat close to you, so you can convince them that you'd be able to visit. Show them a 'normal'college that you'd be willing to go to, and pick it far away.
