Yes, you can do so without any additional risk of pregnancy. You may have irregular spotting, though.
After 29 days wearing the Nuvaring, you remove it (for 7 days). Then you get your period and you use the softcups. You're period is already over, when you have to insert a new Nuvaring. So you''ll never have to wear both at the same time. a user of both ;-)
No, you only need to insert NuvaRing on the same day of the week every time, not the same time of day.
If you miss the first three days of your NuvaRing cycle, you should use a backup method until you've worn the ring for seven days. If you had sex during that time, consider using emergency contraception.
You should start using your ring for the first time after your period has stopped. Then begin using your timer to remove on the correct day and replace 7 days later. If used properly you should never have any problems. I was on the ring for 6 + years and had sex as soon as the same day I put it in and never had a question about pregnancy. I fully trust the ring as my method of BC.
Not a physician here, just a Nuvaring user for 3+ years. I would say yes, put it in the week After you SHOULD have gotten your period, just to keep your body on the same schedule. I once skipped a month of having the Nuvaring in, thinking I' could start again once I got my period, but I ended waiting two months for my next period and by then my body was all out of whack because the hormone cycle was broken. If you put the ring in when you normally would, after the week you should have gotten your period, you'll just skip your period that month, maybe with some spotting, but your body will still be on the same cycle.
You just need to insert and remove it on the same day of the week. The time of day is not important.Being an hour late once a year won't reduce the efficacy. You just need to insert and remove it on the same day of the week.
Yes it is, and not only it is possible but you should insert a new nuvaring exactly 7 days from when you took it out, period or not. You should keep the ring in and take the ring out according to the schedule on the calendar, regardless of any bleeding you have.Yes you can. I have been on nuvaring for 3months and yes you can put it in while you have your period. it will not stop your period from leaving your body. you can also use tampons while having it in but just make sure you do not pull the nuvaring out while you pull out the tampon.Yes, that's a normal thing to do. You should put it in according to the schedule, regardless of any bleeding.
the same thing just happened to me, and I was really upset but I called organon, they said its perfectly normal, especially if i started using nuvaring recently.
You have the same protection from NuvaRing with or without bleeding. Using a second method can increase protection, but it's not required just because you're bleeding.
Nothing. It doesn't have to be inserted at the same time each week. My gyno told me I can leave it in an extra week if I'm going on vacation or want to hold off my period a week for some reason...there are enough hormones in it to leave it in an extra week, so the matter of a few hours is not important.
If your Nuvaring comes out, then your chances of pregnancy are the same as any female without contraceptive protection.
The same thing happen to me Im just going to leave the Nuva ring out the Rest of the week because I hear that when you take the Nuva ring out you will get your period and yu will just put it back in a week later starting a new cycle
