Yes you can. But if the disc is severely scratched, it most likely will not install. If you have a friend with the same game, ask them if you can borrow it so you can install it to your hard drive, then use your disc.
If you installl the scratched disc it won't but if you install a working one (from a friend) it will let you play the scratched one. :)
Yes.
When the Xbox says install game it does not mean you are about to install the full game onto your hard drive. When you install a game on to your Xbox it's taking some of the game files and installing them to make the game run smoother and possibly look better.
your disk is scratched
to release strain on the lens or if your game is to scratched to work get a friend that has the same game and copy it on the HD and then you can play with a scratched disk
If it's a video game and comes up as that the disk is scratched.
you have to have the disc in the drive for it to play. When you install game to hard drive it makes it so the disc doesn't have to spin. Therefore it will not be scratched, overheated etc.
That means your game is scratched or your xbox can't read it.
You mean install a Xbox 360 game onto your USB stick and play off that. Your answer is yes, if you want your Xbox modding and get banned.
More usually than not it won't just be that game, freezing is a very common problem for the xbox 360. However the game maybe scratched or damaged, thus the disc drive cannot read the game. Try to install it to the xbox harddrive and see if that helps.
Installs it to your hardive. This means you will be able to play the game without the disk. It also reduces the loading speed as it loading from the hardrive and not from the actual disk. As a side note to some people: You cannot download a game to a ps2's hardrive.
First, check if your disk is scratched. If its heavily scratched then that's the problem On a more serious note, is that the only game you play that makes the Xbox 360 crash? Does your Xbox 360 display any rings of light?
