No. The expansion packs are designed for PC platform because on PC you can install the expansions over the original stand-alone version of The Sims 2. PlayStation 2 does not support this feature - for any game for that matter, let alone The Sims 2. EA Games, however, does offer other stand-alone versions of The Sims 2 that allows you to use many of the objects found in the PC expansion packs. One of them is The Sims 2 Pets for PS2, which is its own stand-alone game. There is also The Sims 2 Castaway, another stand-alone game. In addition, there is the original The Sims 2 game for PS2, stand-alone.

Can we get more info?If you're reinstalling and didn't uninstall from the uninstall icon, your problem is that the information about the previous install is still in the registry. Try going to Add/Remove Programs on Windows Control Panel, and see if you can remove it from there. If you're getting an error message about invalid files, you've probably got a scratched or oxidized CD. You used to be able to get new copies cheap from thesims2.com, but they may have discontinued this service. Try gently wiping the CD with an old clean tshirt or similar material. There are a couple packs that won't install out of order. If you try to install Night Life after Seasons or Family Fun Stuff after just about anything released later, you'll get an error. To fix it, uninstall (from the uninstall icon in the menu) the most recently released packs, install the new pack, then reinstall the rest.Very important: If you have to uninstall any EP or the base game, you must go to My Documents/EA Games and rename the The Sims 2 folder to something else. When you're finished uninstalling and reinstalling, then you can change the name back. The uninstaller will delete all your saved neighborhoods and houses if you do not do this!
