Yes the router itself has Software/Firmware on it that will communicate with computers even if you don't use the install disk
First , you just connect to the ethernet on your modem. Then connect your pc to the LAN on the router. Then you are good to go. If you have a disk with it , Then you must install with that disk
yes u can want to know more just mail me lyds_tumps@yahoo.com
You can't, you need the disk to install the game.
Yes, plug in the Ethernet cable then go to the default IP address, which may be 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254 or 192.168.1.251 or 192.168.0.1
You do need to have a disk to install a router. Some routers do have such option but it's not compulsory. If you want to change settings for your router you need to know its IP address (check your adapter's properties). After that open any web browser you have and type in the IP address, it will bring you to the router log in page. You need to know the username and password, you are supposed to know it if you have changed it once. If you did not, use manual to find out default credentials. If you do not have the manual you can find it on the router's manufacture website.
On McFafe
no. no.
If a program's executable file or setup / install files are not saved to the harddrive, no, the program will not run without the disk in the disk drive.
For many devices, you can't install the usbwire without the disk. The reason that is so is because you have to buyit (I assume), and giving away the contents of a CD which you have to buy is like sharing illegal copy's of movies.
You can un-install the router's software (or any other program) - by clicking... Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features. Scroll down until you find the driver or program, and right-click it. Select uninstall, and follow the prompts, Re-start your computer afterwards to remove the programs references from the registry. That will remove all references to the router from the computer. If you plug the router back in - Windows will 'auto-detect' the 'new' hardware, and set up the drivers for it automatically (it may ask for a disk for the drivers).
yes if you get the drivers off there web site
you cannot install a game with two disks with only the first! all the data in on the second!
