No. Updating the iPad's firmware will remove any jailbreak that has been installed.
You can jailbreak anything that has software updates/upgrades, it's just nobody bothered to jailbreak the cosmos touch yet, I have it too, i've been waiting :)

Installer has been discontinued. Use Cydia or Icy
Assuming you are referring to an iPhone, yes. Once the phone has been restored to a stock firmware (removing the jailbreak), there is no way to tell that the iPhone has ever been jailbroken, and no way to tell that your warranty has been voided, so Apple will be happy to take it in.
i believe it is because your ipod has been bricked. This happens when you jailbreak with itunes running. To fix this restore and then re- jailbreak with itunes closed. Have anymore jailbreak questions email me @ arobinson410@gmail.com
i dont know but u buy them ^^^ No you don't just go to jailbreakme.com Jailbreaking is a free service. If you have every had to pay for a jailbreak, you have been scammed.
The fourth generation iPod Touch has not been made yet, and there are several other iPods with a fourth generation, so specific information of the iPod is needed to know whether it can be jailbroken or not.
You can't use it yet as the iPod/iPhone/iPad firmware 4.2.1 has not yet been released on jailbreak me. However, there is a tethered version of the jailbreak on redsn0w but needs an extra program for rebooting your idevice.
yes, since it is already jail-broken it wont run the risk of being bricked or broken. i am doing this right now and my ipod is completely fine.
Sucked in fool don't jailbreak
No, jailbreaking has been legal since 2010. However, if you jailbreak, you will void your warranty.
