If both the issue (the reason you're on medication) and the medication (it self) do not affect your ability to handle basic tasks like driving, running, and the other necessities it takes to be a police officer, then a police department would be more than willing to consider you.

If either the issue or medication cause issues with these basic tasks, the department may see you as a liability.
