Me...., i dont know for sure but when ever they make a game they make it on a computer, right. So...., they keep the file on the computer and some time when they decied, they load it to a ROM flie for downloading.

You have to buy an adapter. Also giving the rom to others is a crime. It is legal ( in some countries) to keep a copy for your own personal use as a backup.

Its possible your CD ROM is just that, a CD ROM....and not a DVD player. Many games nowadays come on DVDs. It should say on the game box what the minimum requirements are to play the game, so check there!

Yes, as in you can get a copy of a game at the store on a CD-ROM..ROM is "Read Only Memory"...once something is written to the disc it cannot be changed.
