First answer: Yes. In my experience ive never had any problem doing this.
A different answer: Nursing rabbits and their litter should be separated from all other rabbits. Having another rabbit around can be stressful for a new mother rabbit, and stress is something you want to eliminate as much as possible. Also the other rabbit could accidentally injure the babies.
Even if neither has any babies, you may not be able to keep two female rabbits together because they might fight. Generally speaking, you should only keep rabbits together if they are "bonded," which means they love each other and can be trusted not to fight. To breed rabbits, put one male and one female together in a different cage. They have to be at least 6 months old and no older than 2 1/2 years. Keep them in the cage for about 3 hours and then remove them. In weeks you will start noticing she is larger!
There is a danger that the male will eat the kits, this is one good reason why the male should not be kept with the female once she is pregnant and kindling. Until the kits have been weaned and are leaving their mother the father should be kept away!

I did, one time have a Californian rabbit that gave birth to one huge baby 4 days late. It had fur because rabbits start to get fur at 3 days of age. As far as the size of a 19 day old, I am afraid that a baby that large would kill the doe during kindling.
The are no known garden plaques that keep rabbits away. However, one safe and effective way to keep rabbits away from gardens are to spray a Tabasco and water mix on plants.
