yes, I have died in my dreams several times. In fact, after I died in my dream, it went on to like some weird afterlife land that made no sense at all but was really cool. I mostly wake up before i am about to die in my dream though!

It is possible to dream of dying while sleeping. Death in dreams usually is a symbol for a significant change in your life. One can die while sleeping, as many people do, and this is regarded as a very peaceful way to die. But those deaths are due to heart attacks, strokes or some other physical illness. Dreams cannot cause death and you do not die simply because you dreamt of dying.

∙ 13y agoYes-sort of maybe. One of the main causes of death in your sleep is if your tongue gets loose in your sleeps and it rolls back,closing off the air valves. You cannot make yourself do so,but it does happen to some i think your tongue rolling back is some kind of ;not disease but something like that.

The scientific name for sleepwalking is somnambulism or noctambulism. Sleepwalking occurs during deep sleep (stages 3 and 4) early in the night . Sleepwalking is most common in children (more so in boys than girls) between the ages of 6 and 12 .This disorder can be caused by being aggravated by stress, fatigue, sleep deprivation and some medications.
Sleepwalkers will tend to not remember how they came to be somewhere or why they are there when they are awoken . Waking a sleepwalker is not as easy as waking someone one from there normal sleep waking them is even harder when they are walking.
The notion that if you awaken a sleepwalker from there sleep that you can kill them is a urban myth . It is more true that by not awaking them that they will hurt them self more given there current state .The cause of sleepwalking is not known, but it has been proposed that a sudden arousal from NREM sleep is the cause.

suffocate you with a pillow,stab you till you bleed to death,shoot a bullet through your head , bomb you to death or could do a thousand other things.

Why is it bad to wake someone up while they are sleepwalking?
Because you kill them by frighting them and you wouldn't like it if you were sleepwalking and being woke in the middle of the night would you? Wrong answer. ^^^ First off, you can't kill them if they are sleepwalking? But, they can kill you. If they are sleepwalking, they aren't aware of what's going on. If you try to wake them up, natural body senses will tell the body it's in danger. Which in turn leads to the sleepwalker getting defensive.
