Yeah i use 30 percent volume when i have 40, measure it just say it weighed 1kg. take away 25% of it. :)

Good idea, but unfortunately that won't work. There's no way to make a 40 volume, you will need to buy that separately.
40 Volume developer is not recommended to use when bleaching hair as it is very strong and can cause major damage if not done by a professional. 20-30 volume would be better and safer for home use.
