you either stick a yellow and red cable where the charger goes that they usually sell at wall-mart and connect it to a Electric socket that's at least above 120 volts or higher (forgot the name of the company that makes those cables....they always sell them tho >_< in wallmarts) plug them in then as soon 10 seconds go by UNPLUG THE DS FROM THE WALL!!! it should be completely charged :D i think the company's name is RO-FLOW CO.
Yes, make sure it's turned off and don't play it to check the charge every five minutes.
No. The DS charge cable has a different connector than the DSi family of systems. The DS' charge cable can only be used to charge a DS or a Game Boy Advance SP, whereas the DSi's charge cable can charge a DSi, DSi XL or 3DS.
The DSi, and any other Nintendo handheld, will charge as long as it is plugged in and receiving power. The system does not have to be on to charge. The DSi can charge a dead battery to full in about 3 hours.
No. The DSi charger comes with the DSi when you buy it.
It takes about 2-3 hours to charge a dsi or ds. A dsi charger is different than a ds charger so be careful.
Yes, you can. However, all options still require a charger: The DSi XL, 3DS and 3DS XL chargers are all the same and can charge a Nintendo DSi
Unless you loaned the DSi, there is no monthly charge after you bought the DSi.

The dsi can stay charge for about 9-14 hours. You have charge it for about 2 hours and 30 min.

you plug it in to an outlet with the charger
Yes. The DSi and the 3DS use the same charge cable. As well, the DSi charge cable can be used to power the 3DS' charging cradle too.
No, the DSi uses a different charge to the DS lite.
