In the sims 2 for PC, yes, i know for sure you can, same with the PS2. I am not sure how to use the cheats with other game consoles, but I use neoseeker when I try to find the sims 2 cheats. Most of the cheats there have worked with me.
for PC :
first, open the cheat box ( ctrl + shift + C ) then enter boolprop testingcheatsenabled true. then shift+click on the sim you want to fall in love, then click spawn, then more until you find sim modder. After you have that up, click on the sim modder ( it should be a standing baby ) and click on relationship me to other sim then click on loves, then follow the steps again as that same sims but only instead of selecting relationships Me to other, select other to me then loves.
I dont remember how to do that with the PS2, but as I said before, neoseeker helped me.

In the sims 2 your sim likes 3 different people you want her to fall out of love with the sim she is living with how can you do this?
There are several ways to do this. It basically comes down to: do u want to use a cheat? If you do, open up the cheat window (control +shift+c) and type in "boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled true" (without the quotes and it IS case sensitive). Then make sure your playing as your girl. Shift+click on the sim you want her to fall out of love with and hit more until you find make "furious with this sim." That will make thenm hate each other. The non-cheating way is to simply have the sim you want her to fall out of love with catch her flirting with or kissing another sim. This will make them furious with each other and fall out of love. You will also get the option break up, in which the sim who selects break up, basically kicks the other sim out of their house. If you want them to remain friends, you can use a cheat. Thype in the boolprop cheat, then shift click your sim, select "Spawn" and click on more until you find sim moddler. This will be a weird statue baby thing that appears. Simply click on it, find relationships, "my sim to other" and then you would get options like, "love" "Like" "hate" "dislike" or "neutral" Choose whatever u please.
