No. You can't make granite because of the money. People would hav millions of gold peices if you were able to make granite stuff because granite legs are lik 2.6 thousand gold peices. You can't make granite armor...the only way to obtain it is to kill monster or other events. You can obtain the granite body from barbarian outpost (idk what the requirements are to buy it) and the other pieces you have to kill something i think. Look on Sals realm of runescape or rune hq for further help.
