Banks do not iron money as this would burn it. The Royal Mint, who make the money, make it flat when it is made, and then send it to the banks like this. Ironing money is not recommended :)

The Bank Can't Print its own money because only the treasury can print or make money . Every country would have a central governing authority for banks and they print paper and mint coin money.
My money (US dollars) is printed by the United States Treasury Department. My money (British pounds) is printed by the Royal Mint.

At the Royal Australian Mint. You can mint your won $1-00 coin, but last time I was there (7 years ago) it cost $2-00 to make a $2-00 coin. Technically speaking the Royal Australian Mint is the only place in the whole of Australia (not only in Canberra) where you can make money. Everywhere else you have to earn your money...
