As far as i can tell, no you cant. i wish though. i also wish it came with the effects that other web cams offer.

If you have a ACER ASPIRE , you could search crystal eye webcam and you would see on the left side, the right icon is a video cam you could click that and you are ready for recording a new video using you're webcam on your laptop. :D

I much prefer acer netbooks. I believe they are sturdy and you will not have much problem of looking for parts if ever the netbook needs repairing. Acer netbooks also give user friendly interface and me and my acer have gone through a long way.
