no, u can put them in manually. Touch the *(star) button. Note: the game has to be in tha action replay.Next touch the pencil button. Put in the code name and touch the next button. Then put in the code. keep touching next until it goes back to the code menu. Check the code by pressing A. Then click start. Have Fun with your cheats!
