According to Aristotle, happiness (eudaimonia) is the ultimate goal in life and is achieved through virtuous living and fulfilling one's potential. He believed that true happiness comes from living a life of moral and intellectual virtue. In contrast, the present notion of happiness often focuses on immediate gratification, pleasure, and material wealth, rather than the development of character and virtue.

this is a very difficult question, I think happiness is a personal measurement. It can be measured by the feeling in your heart you get when your around people, things or places. I think to measure happiness on a scale isn't correct. To some people reading a great book by themselves in an isolated place is happiness and to others be surrounded by people they love is high on their happiness meter. Personally i think most people have their far share of happy moments and some people don't realize it. Many people have things in their live that suck or things they regret but there's one people or one place that just makes life okay. So to answer your question I'd say that its all in your heart how you measure it, but you probably have more then you'd think.
