I just got done taking codeine most of last week due to strep throat and another throat virual infection. I did keep taking my prilosec and zantac with no immediate reaction. However, I now have a very painful squeezing feeling in the middle of my chest that is making nearly impossible to eat or drink. It feels like someone is sqeezing my heart. I have heard that codeine is not good for reflux patients and I found out the hard way why!!

∙ 14y agoI do not recommend this without double-checking it with your doctor. Both codeine and antihistamine cause severe sleepiness and dryness. Taking them both could make you so sleepy that you might have trouble breathing.Taking too much could also give you a splitting sinus headache.

To the point where I was nauseas and waking up in the middle of the night trying to not throw up. Apples are a natural cure that changed my life. I take no other acid reducing medicine.

Boil the mixture under reflux. may need to do a few times after each reaction cycle, to use water to wash out the access ethanol & reaction by-product = water. Then re do the same, mix ethanol+sulfuric acid into the partial reactants (Stearic acid + Ethyl stearate) to fully convert the Stearic acid into Ethyl stearate.

There is a lot yiu can do if you change the way you eat and what you eat. Avoid heavy meals at any one time, choose smaller meals throughout the day.
