Yes, ethyl alcohol and isopropyl alcohol are drinkable.
1st answe: It really comes down to how much lorazepam you are planning on taking. If you were to take like 1mg and then have a couple fingers of bourbon you'd probably feel great, and sleep like an "angel" But if you over do it you'll end up in the hospital or worse! 2nd answer: It's dangerous to mix medicine with alcohol. So no.

If i were you i WOULD NOT drink alcohol, while taking any benzo's. It increases the effect of the drug ten fold. I made that mistake once.
I know for a fact that you can mix rubbing alcohol and water, as most rubbing alcohol is a water and isopropyl alcohol solution, but when you mix vinegar and backing soda a gas is produced, so it probably wouldn't mix that well.
It's always advisable not to mix drugs, and that includes alcohol.
oil and alcohol doesnt mix with water
I have checked with a pharmacist friend, he said it is ok to take ativan (lorazepam) and requip (ropinirole) together.
Vegetable oil does not mix with alcohol because the density of the liquids is different. This is the same reason that oil and water do not mix.
