Zanaflex and oxycodone can be used together, however, only under the close supervision of a physician. Both medications have the potential to cause severe hypo tension. Causing the blood pressure to drop dangerously low.
It's not a very good idea, I did it last night and it seemed like it was the equivelant of taking 10 of either one. I also take alprozolam also, needless to say I slept 12 hours and don't think I moved an inch. My eyes just got heavier and heavier until I could not stay awake( this happened over 30 seconds wide awake to asleep.)
Yes, you can, but be careful. Zanaflex is a muscle relaxer and will potentate the opiates(oxycodone is an opiate). But both cause respiratory depression, so mixing high quantities of both can cause death. Be careful.
Concomitant use of tizanidine and moderate or potent CYP1A2 inhibitors is contraindicated. Concomitant use of tizanidine with fluvoxamine, a potent CYP1A2 inhibitor in man, resulted in a 33-fold increase in the tizanidine AUC (plasma drug concentration-time curve) by fluvoxamine. Tizanidine is a potent sedative. It therefore has the potential, to interact with other CNS depressants. Alcohol should obviously be avoided, particularly as it can cause stomach upset.
Yes, but it will cause sleepyness the nods.
no. You can do it if you don't care about high blood pressure.
No, they are the same medication and may result in an overdose if mixed.
yes you can for me the oxycodone takes the pain away but won't let me sleep so I take a flexiril and evens it out I take 10 mg oxycodone and 10 flexiril
Oxycontin is time release, and oxycodone is not.
Oxycontin is a brand name for a time release oxycodone, a very strong opiate based pain killer
Oxycontin and Oxycodone are the same thing. Oxycontin is made from Oxycodone. Oxycontin is time released so it continuously release the medicine and oxycodone is not time released. It depends on how much of each you take. Say if you take a 40 MG Oxycontin pill and and 4 Oxycodone 10/325, you feel the effects of the 4 oxycodone pills because the Oxycontin time released but they are the same thing. Whichever one you take more MG of will be stronger.
Oxycodone.
no, its oxycodone
Oxycodone.
Hydrocodone and Oxycontin contain the same active drug... oxycodone. So 10mg of Hydrocodone and 10 mg of Oxycontin have the same amount of Oxycodone (10 mg) in them. The only difference is that the Hydrocodone contains Tylenol in addition to the Oxycodone. So on the Hydrocodone bottle it might say something like 10/500. So the Hyrocodone in that instance has 10 mg of oxycodone and 500mg of Tylenol.
Oxycodone is found in fast-acting opiates such as Percocet(which also contains tylenol), Roxicodone, and is also in Oxycontin. The only difference between oxycodone and Oxycontin is, Oxycontin is time-released. It distributes its oxycodone slowly over a period of 12 hours, as long as the pill is not cut up or smashed. The 'contin' in 'Oxycontin' stands for continuous.
Oxycodone.
Oxycontin (oxycodone) is just a stronger version of Vicodin (hydrocodone), so yes, you can mix them together. Just be very careful not to take too much and overdose.
