Well it'd depend on what game and if you added live to an original account with a saved game OR if you have a separate account with live.
As for a MW2 example
If you add live on the same account it should save ALL progress
If you want to transfer you'd probably have the campaign progress but no multiplayer online progress
Check out xbox.com for more info.
When you activate Xbox live, you will need to activate it on a Xbox profile, there is no way to transfer the membership to another profile. The game saves etc are the same, all progress has been done on that profile, which means even if you did transfer a saved game, the saved file will be corrupt because its not in that profiles name.
yes, you can play DLC that was downloaded on a Xbox LIVE profile and play it on a non Xbox LIVE profile
you go on profile and then recover gamertag
The message "the current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox Live" in Advanced Warfare typically indicates that your Xbox Live account has restrictions, such as being banned or suspended due to violations of Xbox Live policies. It could also mean that the game is not associated with the correct Xbox Live account. To resolve the issue, check your account status on the Xbox website or contact Xbox Support for assistance.
When you purchase Xbox LIVE, it is on your Xbox Profile. Therefor, any game you play (after redeeming the code or purchasing Gold Membership on the dashboard), you'll be able to play online.
xbox live is like the equivalent of playstation network. It lets you play online against people around the world and with your friends who also have xbox live. You have your own account and your game progress, friends list, messages and all your information is saved on your profile. Costs: (off amazon) 3 month- £9.99 12 month- £27.99
You are not required to be on xbox live. Although you get a free month when you create a profile, it will expire. If you don't buy xbox live you will not be able to play online, be in xbox live partys, or get access to content on xbox live like game demos, add ons, videos, and music.
You cant sell a Xbox live profile.
yes.
You cannot recover profiles on Xbox 360 if they have never been on Xbox Live. The profile has been deleted from your hard drive, memory card or memory box, and therefore nothing had your profile saved outside of your console (meaning besides your hard drive, memory card or memory box). Your profiles are only held by xbox.com IF you have the account online (on Xbox Live). Sorry but you should have thought ahead before you deleted it.this happend to me too. i didn't mean to do it, i just got told that there was an update so i updated. next thing i know i have a new profile with all my game data wiped :(
Yes, just select the profile and choose "Join Xbox Live." You may have to change your gamertag, but your Gamerscore will stay the same.
The number next to your profile is the number of years that profile has been on xbox live.
