Can anyone on here tell you the right way to request a caterory with out repeating more then 1time?
You only need to submit a category request once, using the category request form. Every category request is reviewed for a decision once a week.
What if you request a new category and it is not added as a new category on WikiAnswers in 10 days after your submission should your try again?
If you submitted the request on the form accessed on the "How to Create a New Category on WikiAnswers" page, no, you should not try again. You should assume the request has been received and the category is being considered. If the category has not been added after a couple of weeks, you can write to support @ answers.com (no spaces) and they can make sure the request was received. How long will it take for a new category request to become a real category?
The Answers.com community team reviews every category request. If you have completed the request form with detailed information (category description, where you want the category, how many questions there are about it), chances are it will get approved quicker than others. Expect to wait a week or more to see your category live on the site. Keep in mind that categories with less than 100 questions will not be approved.
