No. My handle broke during the winter when it was cold and icy. I went to pull the handle to load groceries in and the handle snapped. As far as I know there is no other way to open other than the handle. Which I don't know why and if I'd known this when I bought the vehicle, I wouldn't have bought it. Isn't it a safety issue?

Looks like I will have to replace the handle and after much research it appears to be very expensive.
