The answer is "yes, but ...". You will find a lot of forum posts explaining how to run it using Cedega, Wine or i.e. how to do it with Ubuntu (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=120615), but it is not 'completely ready' yet and for new versions of distro's (<-- releases of Linux installation CD's with complete install, desktop and applications) you will find new versions of how-to's on the net...
No. It requires a Mac, PC or Linux machine.
You cannot play PS3 games on on Linux. Even if you had a blu-ray drive on your Linux computer you would not have the proper system to play. If you want to play PS3 games you will have to play them on a PS3.
Linux is just an OS (Operating system like macOS, android, Windows...). But the different things are that Linux is a bit hard to learn. Linux is used by hackers (Linux is a "hacking machine", a bit like hacking in movies. And yes u can play games on Linux (There is some games that doesn't support Linux.)

A Linux, Windows, or a Macintosh.
Depends what play is. Linux cannot use windows binarys - you will need the Linux version for this program. If the maker of Play (whatever that may be) hasn't made a Linux version (or a version that suits your build) try lookin around for either a port or a similar program that does the same thing.
it depends on which type of song file you want to play! most of the open type are playable by different Linux distribution. but for playing mp3 you need mp3 codec for different Linux players. for playing mp3 i XMMS you need xmms-mp3 to play it. just type xmms-mp3 in rpmfind.net and download the package and install play mp3 and enjoy!
