Eyedol is playable in both the Game Boy and the SNES versions of Killer Instinct. He can only be playable through a certain code.
There are no Killer Instinct: Gold apps that I know of, but there is a jailbreak download called Cydia that allow you to download emulators for SNES games, including Killer Instinct 1 & 2
