the servers were shut down in April and some players left they're xboxs running for 1 month after server shut down to keep playing halo 2, but they are now offline
No, you do not need Xbox LIVE to play any original Xbox games. Not all original Xbox games can be played, but Halo and Halo 2 do not need LIVE to be played on the Xbox 360. I just now tried it with my LIVE unplugged and signed in to an offline account and it let me play both of them. The previous answer was a lie, obviously.
No they are two different platforms. A PC gamer will not be able to play with an xbox user and vice versa.
No you need the hard drive and xbox live to play xbox 1 games
Yes, you can play Halo 2 online on the Xbox 360 using Xbox Live.
i dont think many people play halo 2 pc, but alot of people play halo 2 xbox with xbox live!
no you need xbox live lol
Yes you can. I do it all the time with Halo 2.
They stoped online play for Halo 2 back in June 2010. And you need Xbox LIVE to play halo 3, however on the new Xbox 360 u can play halo3 online for free
Well it depends on what games. Most games u can play xbox live with 2 people. For example on halo 3 u can play 4 people on xbox live...
No, it is only on the old xbox, but you can play some of the old xbox games on xbox 360 and Halo: combat evolved (halo 1) and halo 2 are two of them.
yes
Yes, If you have the Halo Ce disk for xbox (It's 360 compatible) and the halo 2 disk (also compatible)..don't expect halo 2 to have online play via xbox live anymore though. They shut down all original xbox game severs down a while back.
