The bulb will be about half as bright.
You should be able to log on to Xbox live just fine with a US Xbox in Australia, by using and ethernet connection, or buying the Wireless adapter. Some games bought in Australia may not work on your US Xbox, you will need to buy games that do not have region encoding, so they will work on any console. Go this address for a list of compatible Xbox 360 games. http://forum.xbox-sky.com/xbox360_regional_compatibility_guide/ You will need to buy an adapter for the power outlet. These can be bought on Ebay for about $3 US.
Personally"My" amp doesn't but I'm pretty sure you've got a blown fuse because your using too much electricity which could cause a fire or burn. The reason being is that the wires that lead to your power outlet are only so thick which means that only so much electricity can pass and it all has to flow through the wire, which makes it heat up. as a safety precaution your power shuts off to that outlet. maybe you could try to unplug electronics from that outlet and make sure its not on an adapter to make more outlets.--------------------------------------------If your speakers do not have the proper impedence, they will cause the amp to overheat and shut it off. Turning up the volume just makes it more likely to happen. If you add speakers, such as plug two speakers into the same outlet (using an adapter), you alter the impedence and the amp will overheat. When it cools, it will reset. One day, it will break and not reset.
If you are using proper authorised outlet boxes, they come with all the holes pre-cut. Holes to mount wire clamps and holes for mounting screws. If you don't use these you are not 'to code'
Yes you can - with a transformer. Maplin Electronics sell a converter that allows you to plug appliances that run on 110V into the normal UK mains. See the related.
It really is not safe to leave a AC adapter plugged in. If not using I would unplug it.
Using an adapter plate eliminates all restrictions. You can use any transmission you can get an adapter for.
No, it is not recommended to substitute a 12 volt 0.5 amp AC adapter with a 7.5 volt 1 amp adapter. The voltage and amperage ratings need to match the requirements of the device you are powering. Using a lower voltage adapter may not provide enough power, and using a higher voltage adapter can potentially damage the device.

A modern Mac will have Bluetooth built in so an adapter is not required.
