With today's Computer Monitors, that's very unlikely to work without a lot of supporting electronics. One of the main reasons is that computer monitors don't usually use standard scan rates. Unless you can find an old composite monitor, like a Commodore 1705 which has a composite video input, and providing the DVD player also has a composite video output, your chances are very slim.
DVD players do not generally have outputs that are compatible with computers. You would need a video capture card installed, which would then be awkward to view it correctly.
A better way would be to change your opical drive, to one that accepts DVDs and then play the DVD directly on the computer.
I think no as there is a DVD ROM drive which will play DVD's so what is the point.
Yes, but not without purchasing some expensive equipment to convert the signal. It would be cheaper to buy a new TV. Much cheaper.
Yes you can but you have to have the right cords.
you should connect a VGA adaptor
The VocoPro DVDduet can play DVDs connect to a TV or monitor, but there is no camera feature that allows it to capture video of you.
Connect the DVD player to a different input on the tv, if there isn't one use a video/audio switcher.
Cd's are played in a CD player and dvds are played in a DVD player.

A Player for Blue Ray can Play DVDs only A Blue Ray Burner can Burn DVDs as well as Blue Ray Discs
DVDs (Digital Versatile Discs) are discs that are used to watch movies, and television shows, you need a DVD player to watch it, most of the DVD players require television to connect them, however portable DVDs do exist.

No. The Eee PC contains no optical drive at all. However, the laptop does come with software to play DVDs if you connect an external drive via USB.
Yes, of course. But the pre-requisite is that the television has compatible cable wire to the computer monitor. If not, the DVD and television cannot be watched on the screen.
