maybe-only if the empty one is the color cart-most will have print black only option
The yellow in your color cartridge is probably empty. Run a test sheet through to see what colors print. Or just change your cartridge.
A dual-bay ink jet printer is designed to not print unless both bays have cartridges inserted. If you aren't printing color documents, you can leave an empty color cartridge in the color ink bay and the printer will work because all printing (even color) includes the B&W cartridge.
yes
ur printers cartridge one or all are empty and it WILL NOT print
no it is designed so it will not print without color cartridge having ink in it
The kind of printer that uses the 51465AE cartridge is the HP Hewlett Packard printer. Ink cartridge contains the ink that is used to print out words or images on a paper. One can always replace the ink or inkjet cartridge when the ink is empty.
It means that the cartridge is not recommended for use in the maker's printer. Or it won't physically fit inside the printer. Or it has been refilled, but the chip inside some cartridges won't recognize the refilled cartridge and marks it as empty.
If your printer cartridge won't print, you might need to replace the cartridge. You can also preform a print head alignment, if the ink hasn't been depleted yet.
Yes, you could, provided you are not using the color cartridges. I assume you are filling the color cartridges with black ink to fool the printer you have refilled the colors
can the mfc-255cw printer, print in black only with just a black cartridge?
I have only tried putting a Lexmark cartridge into a dell series 5 printer but it does not work. The electronics do not match and the printer rejected it.
That is an ink cartridge, not a printer.
