The traditional view of God as an omnipotent, omniscient, and omnibenevolent being can be safely ruled out, as the attributes named are mutually incompatible. If God possesses omniscience, and knows perfectly and entirely all future events, then He is not free to change what has been foreseen and is therefore not omnipotent. If He can change what he has foreseen then there is a flaw in his omniscience. His supposed attribute of omnibenevolence is incompatible with natural and human evil in the world.
